I am the kind of parent who does not like to put my kids in the ‘rat race’. I believe that each child will develop at their own pace, and that our job as a parent is to nurture and support each developmental milestone and not to push it or ‘make it happen’.

Josha started reading fluently at the age of 7. I taught him basic phonics when he was 6 years old. It is truly amazing to see how he has progressed from reading just a few words to comic books to story books.

The best part is when he reads his most favorite book to me. The same book I used to read to him when he was growing up. These are the moments to be treasured forever.
